Driekoppen Game Farm offers two exclusive accommodation options -
The Sandstone Lodge and The Hunter's House.
THE SANDSTONE LODGE
Situated at the upper region of the narrow gorge, the upmarket self-catering lodge comfortably accommodate up to six guests in luxury. The lodge is well appointed, unquestionably luxurious and spacious with views of the picturesque adjacent dams and valleys. Three furnished on-suite bedrooms complete this magical farm getaway. This accommodation option also places great emphasis on the privacy of guests as well as the position of the lodge to maximize the amazing views it offers of the farm, the narrow gorge and the Sandstone Mountains. Game will be spotted around the lodge on regular occasions.
The Sandstone Lodge comprises of the following amenities:
An open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.
A dining room with seating for up to fourteen guests.
The Lounge area has a large fireplace that ensures
the perfect atmosphere for cosy evenings.
The Sandstone Lodge boasts a fully equipped kitchen
with a separate scullery area, electric fridge, electric oven,
gas-powered stove top and an indoor braai facility.
Separate Male and Female guest toilets.
On the large patio are braai facilities and a fireplace.
An outdoor dining table and other seating are available
on a dreamy porch area to enjoy a beautiful Free State sunsets.
The Sandstone lodge with its large outside patio area and terraced grounds
around it is also very suitable for the hosting of outdoor functions.
This patio with its magnificent views can accommodate up to forty guests.
A self-stock bar area with inside and outside seating.
The bar is equipped with bar amenities, glasses and mini bar fridge.
Full satellite television (DSTV) is also available in bar area.
Three double en-suite bedrooms with built in cupboards.
All linen / blankets and towelling are provided.
Two of the bedrooms are furnished with two three-quarter beds
whilst the third has a King-sized bed for absolute comfort.
THE HUNTER'S HOUSE
The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living area, an indoor barbecue area as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
Full satellite television (DSTV) is available.
Our basic accommodation consists of a spacious farm house that accommodates up to eight guests in four bedrooms with shared ablutions. The house creates a relaxed atmosphere where guests can unwind after the day’s activities.
The farm house is well positioned, boasting amazing views of the farm and sandstone mountains that surround it.
Catering for guests can be done on request.
The Hunter's House offers the following amenities to guests:
Four bedrooms with built in cupboards.
Shared ablutions.
Equipped kitchen.
Dining room.
Lounge with DSTV.
Outdoor braai facility.
Linen in the bedrooms and towelling in the bathroom.
With the farm house we offer a more economical accommodation option
and it is particularly suitable for families and larger groups of hunters.
The Hunter's House and The Sandstone Lodge accommodation can be consolidated to allow larger groups of guests in the event of functions.
